Stephen Ogden of Market Access Solutionz will hold a pre-season meeting to update growers and exporters on relevant information for the coming season, including:
- Pre-season update including an overview of the export programmes
- Overview of access for Summerfruit to overseas markets, and a summary of Importing Countries Phytosanitary Requirements (ICPRs)
- Fruit fly Official Assurance Programme
- Australia border clearance issues
- MRL changes & residue assurance programme
- Why overseas PHIs differ – MRLs and PHIs explained.
- An overview of the Summerfruit Export Management Strategy and Quality Manuals
- At 11am, Seb Chapman will present on the Fruit Minder app
This meeting is suitable for primary growers, packhouses and exporters.

101 Introduction to Summerfruit NZ

The Summerfruit NZ team is holding a meeting to:
- explain some of our processes and how to navigate your way through our online portal. Summerfruit NZ Business Manager, Andrea Crawford will describe how to access the wealth of information that is available, and explain the changes that are being made to improve the user experience.
- Summerfruit NZ Technical Advisor, Richard Mills will then discuss the agrichemical system in relation to MRLs and PHIs as they continue to change and the implications of those changes.
This meeting is planned as a question-and-answer session. It will be ideal for new growers or those in the second and third levels of management, who wish to gain a deeper understanding of the summerfruit industry.
