The current summerfruit commodity levy order expires in August 2026.
Over the coming months, Summerfruit NZ will be meeting with growers to hear what they have to say about the levy order; Summerfruit NZ’s vision, purpose and priorities; and how we are performing as an organisation for growers.
Growers’ feedback will be reflected in the final summerfruit commodity levy proposal, which growers will vote on in August 2025.
What’s proposed
Quite simply, Summerfruit NZ proposes no changes to the summerfruit commodity levy order.

How to give feedback
Growers can provide feedback at any time and in a way that is convenient for them.
The proposal will be discussed at:
- SummerGreen events in April (link)
- The 2025 Summerfruit NZ conference on 25–26 June in Blenheim (link)
- Grower meetings around the country in July (details to follow)
