The biosecurity plan for the next three years has been uploaded onto the website. Biosecurity strategy 2018-21 summarises the strategy that Summerfruit NZ is currently implementing to protect our industry from biosecurity threats specific to summerfruit.
The strategy includes activities ahead as well as success indicators and key outcomes that we will be using to measure how well prepared our industry is in the event of an incursion.
As part of the strategy, a risk analysis of all potential pests has been completed and a list of priority pests has been prepared and classified as summerfruit's Most unwanted.
