The Government has released an exposure draft of the Natural and Built Environments Bill for consultation. The change in legislation will be very influential for resource management decisions affecting the horticulture sector.
HortNZ is preparing a submission to the Bill and has consulted with Product Groups for their input. Summerfruit NZ has been working with HortNZ on the submission and will be supporting HortNZ in this process.
