Growers are invited to a field walk on pruning techniques for cherry and apricot FOPS as part of the SFF Futures FOPS project. The field walk is on Tuesday 15 February, 3pm at Plant & Food Research Clyde, 990 Earnscleugh Road.
Plant & Food Research will demonstrate postharvest pruning techniques for full canopy planar systems, share their learnings from previous trials and hold a discussion to hear grower’s experiences.
Please note that this event is limited to 25 people because of Plant & Food Research Covid-19 policies. Every attendee must be fully vaccinated, show vaccine passport on arrival, not be at a location of interest 2 weeks prior, maintain 2m distancing, and wear a mask. A second field day will be held the following day if we exceed these numbers.
Unfortunately, because of Covid-19 restrictions, there cannot be a social discussion session afterwards (i.e. no refreshments).
To register, please complete this form. Please note we cannot accept walk-ins so please pre-register. If you can’t make it on the day please let us know.
Any questions please contact Plant & Food Research via email to Michelle Schurmann
