Following notification from Myanmar’s National Plant Protection Organisation allowing access to New Zealand fresh cherries (Prunus avium) at the end of last year, MPI has now updated and published the Importing Countries Phytosanitary Requirements (ICPR) for this market. This includes the requirement for an additional declaration stating that the product is free from Thrips obscuratus and Saissetia oleae.
To access the complete ICPRs for Myanmar and other markets please visit the MPI website here.
